It does not seem possible …

It does not seem possible that 30 years ago today, my dad died.

There are so many times over the past years that I have wanted to talk through something with him, or ask his opinion on something.

I thank God for the privilege of calling Ray Crowder my dad! I am grateful for all the things he taught me.

On this anniversary, I also want to thank the Lord for the many men He has placed in my life with whom I can talk through things and seek advice.

Here are a some of my favorite pics of him.

(NOTE: Be sure to scroll on down past the pictures and read one of my blogs about my dad.)

Dad was a Navy Corpsman assigned to the 3rd Marine Division in WWII, Guam and Iwo Jima.
Us with Baba (Dr. I. N.) and Iya (Sara Lou) Patterson who served as missionaries in Nigeria.
Dad loved music, played piano and accordion by ear.

Here’s a blog I wrote several years ago about my dad, “I Miss My Father … Dad…Daddy”

Dad and the guys were clearing the land that was purchased for “The Bridge.” It reminds me of and Moses raised his staff.
