At 8:05 AM, on May 7, 2010, my mom took her last breath here on earth and went to spend eternity with her Heavenly Father.
Many of you knew and loved my mom. She loved her Savior and Lord, Jesus, her family, and her friends. She never met a stranger. She made everyone she met, in America and Africa, feel as the most important person on earth. She loved to laugh, especially it seemed, at the most inappropriate times. She had the most beautiful smile that lit up every room she entered.
Callie and Olin Thomason had nine children, Mom was the eighth. There were three boys and six girls. The picture below is from what I think was the last “Sisters’ Retreat” in 2009. They met yearly for 25 years. The picture below is mom (in blue), her sister Jeannette Jeffers, and me.
I am thankful the Lord allowed us to have as many years here on earth with mom as we did.
